This rural retreat is about a one mile walk away from the National Trust’s famous Bosherston Lily Ponds in the Stackpole Estate, leading to the stunning, white powdery sands of Broadhaven South beach. Barafundle Bay, a little further along the Coastal Path, has been voted as one of the best beaches in the world!  Close to two excellent pubs for food, as well as The Boathouse at Stackpole Quay and Bosherston Tea Rooms. The historic town of Pembroke with its castle is about 4 miles away and the seaside town of Tenby a further ten miles.

The spacious, contemporary lounge/diner has a light and airy feel with a high vaulted beamed ceiling. The whole cottage is decorated with a palette of soft whites, beiges and muted blues, inspired by the sea. The exposed stone fireplace has a woodburning stove to snuggle up by in the winter, as well as gas central heating. French doors open onto the sunny patio where you can enjoy a barbecue in the enclosed garden. This has a westerly aspect to enjoy evening sunsets over the surrounding countryside. A gate leads to the cottage’s own wildlife meadow and the Wales Coastal Path passes the rear boundary. There is also a large communal lawn to the front where children can play freely.

Whether you are looking for a cosy bolthole for two in an area of outstanding natural beauty or a family beach break for four, a holiday at Swallow Cottage is something special.
